• Recruitment- Notification for Recruitment in Indian Navy, Indian Army, Indian  Air Force is provided.  

• Income Tax Filling-   Income Tax Returns can also be filed through CSC. Manual is available in English and Hindi for VLE.

Formation of a Committee regarding workload assessment of GDS

As per our Union letter no.NUGDS/MGNREGS/Workload      dated 11.10.2018   regarding MGNREGS workload to consider in to the duties of Gramin Dak Sevaks which has been submitted to Directorate was considered and allowed to examine by forming a Committee .

It is the acheivement of NUGDS as we have already filed OA in CAT  Hyderabad for considering to perform duties for more than 5 hours and to abolish Rule 3A which was framed by the Department of Posts.

We are happy to inform that only on the representation submitted by NUGDS with the help and suggestions of Sri.D.Kishan Rao Ex.SG FNPO & Ex.GS NAPE Gc the Department of Posts has considered our recommendation for considering MGNREGS in to the workload assessment of GDS.

As per the suggestions given by the Sri.D.Kishan Rao Ex.SG FNPO & Ex.GS NAPE Gc both the AP  & Telangana NUGDS Circle Secretaries has submitted the same represention to the respective CPMGs of the both Circles. 

As per the above representations which were submitted by both the Circle Secretaries of NUGDS , the same was considered and forwarded by the both CPMGs to approve the suggestions given by the NUGDS.

NUGDS circle working committee meeting of AP circle held at Andhra University PO, Visakhapatnam on 25-8-2019 under the chairmanship of Sri M.Murali, Circle President. Sri D. kishanrao, Member, NJCM & Ex SG FNPO, Ex-GS NAPE c, Sri Sivaji Vasireddy, GS NAPE c & CS AP circle, Sri Koteswararao, CS NUGDS Telangana, Sri Ch. Lakshminarayana, CS NUGDS, AP circle Sri VS Arunkumar, EX RR and Sri L. Krishnaprasad, RR Nape c, Visakhapatnam region are attended and addressed the working committee meeting.

GDS transfer policy, Common  Service Centers (CSC) and it's effect on GDS, Court cases on Equal pay for equal work, Gratuity, arrears/increment and reconsideration of rejected compassionate cases based on point system.

GDS employees are practically working for more than 8 hours but for the imposition of GDS Conduct & Engagement Rules,2011 stipulating that GDS should not work for more than 5 hours under Rule 3A. This is nothing but exploitation of labour and sqeezing the blood and sweat of labour force attracting the violation of labour laws and Constitution of India.

The Supreme Court of India in the Civil Appeal 2013 of 2013 pronounced that equal pay for equal work should be implemented to all the workers as per law of the land. The above OAs were filed in the Hon'ble CAT of AP & Telangana with nearly 150 documents as evidence and to issue directions to the Union of India to implement the judgement of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and to provide to place the GDS in the Level - 1 ( Rs. 18,000/- ) of the pay matrix of Central Government employees. The Hon'ble CAT admitted the two cases today ( 26.08.2019 ) and issued notices to the Respondents.

This is the day of  stepping up and surging the way for the  repeal of the selfmade GDS engagement rules,2011. The GDS employees are requested to support , analyse and organise themselves for the noble cause and prepare to file the cases at their respective judiciary.
